Abstract—Now a day’s robots are very useful in various industrial and domestic operations using different mechanisms such as hydraulic, kinematic chain etc. I have made a functional robot that can be used in pick and place operation such as loading and unloading machines, placing components on circuit boards, moving parts off conveyor belts etc. using stud mechanism which is very simple, cheap and easy to manufacture. Use of this mechanism can replace other costly and complex mechanisms. Index Terms—Stud mechanism, Pick and place robot, Spring, DC motor
