Abstract—In the present paper, Graph Theoretic Approach is used for the analysis and comparison of roller burnishing process in terms of surface roughness. The surface roughness is affected by different parameters. In the present work, the important parameters are identified and an index of surface roughness is proposed with the help of Graph Theoretic Approach which evaluates the inhibiting power of these parameters. This index can be used in comparison of different roller burnishing processes. Index Terms—Roller burnishing process, Parameters, Intensity, Graph theoretic approach
